JOB PURPOSE

The Global Web Development Manager holds a key role in the global brand management team supporting global web initiatives including leadership of the program management for the implementation of Sitecore CMS throughout all regions. The Global Web Manager provides expertise in project management, user interface design/usability orientation, and implementation of complex content management systems. Experience with Sitecore is desirable.

The Global Web Manager works closely with regional web and marketing teams to plan web initiatives, represent regional needs and global brand, while interfacing with Sitecore implementation partners globally.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

¨       Planning, budgeting and strategic counsel on global web related projects.

¨       Manage development and evolution of Global web initiatives to accomplish business and global brand objectives while aligning with regional web needs.

¨       Must be able to work across multiple regions, represent diverse needs and facilitate an effective outcome.

¨       Support regional agency resources in the architecture, design, production, and maintenance of Wacom’s global sites.

¨       Identify, share and counsel adherence on best practices for usability and user interface design.

¨       Share Global knowledge of template design, and development best practices.

¨       Maintain a high level of familiarity with current internet technologies.

¨       Apply and adhere to Wacom global brand guidelines.

 QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Experience)

Global Web Manager requires Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field.

Applicants should have minimum of 10 years of industry experience with focus in implementing and supporting marketing business deliverables.  A minimum of 3 years experience implementing web related projects with Sitecore or similar platforms for global organizations is desired.

  • Sitecore developer certification desired but not required.
  • Experience with the architecture and delivery of global web projects
  • Strong marketing orientation
  • Experience facilitating groups across multiple global regions
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects concurrently, and communicate effectively across a variety of functional groups.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position requires global travel of up to 20%.  Travel could be up to 40% during the first year.
